RAT Subterranean News was published in New York, starting in March of 1968 and was edited by Jeff Shero, Alice Embree and Gary Thiher, who had come North from Austin, Texas, where they worked on The Rag, another underground paper. RAT had a left political orientation. It seemed to evolve in the very early 1970s into a woman's movement newspaper which culminated in the early 1970s when it was taken over by W.I.T.C.H., Women's International Terrorist Conspiracy from Hell.

This issue contains articles on the Fall of Pnompenh, Margaret Sanger, Black Panther Lonnie McLucas, and many more.

Newspaper has not been folded, so it will be shipped flat.
