    Cheaply made (Larry’s was a dive) handbill in near fine condition with slight edge wear, slight wear to corners, signatures have bled a bit through to other side, someone has done a bit of math on the reverse side in pen. Sheet size is 8 ½” x 11”.
    Handbill from Larry’s Headspace (called that for a short period around 1983, then returning to Larry’s Hideaway) for the Ontario-based 1980s band The Spoons, this one signed by founding members Sandy Horne and Gordon Depp.

    Larry’s Hideaway “was a bar in the Prince Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The venue was notable for being one of the first venues in Toronto to open itself to punk and new wave music acts, as well as hard rock. The venue was well known for its good acoustics. Several artists recorded live albums at the venue.” It closed in 1986. “It was the biggest shit hole in the city, but the atmosphere was great,” said promoter Gary Topp.
